Why Daily Limits Protect Your BPO Business

Winning too many orders is a real problem. A daily cap is the simplest fix.

It sounds like a good problem: your auto-accept tool wins eight orders before lunch. By Thursday you are behind, reports are rushed and a reviewer is asking questions. A daily limit prevents that.

What a daily limit does

It caps how many orders are accepted for you in a day. Once you hit it, further broadcasts are skipped until tomorrow.

Why it helps

  • Deadlines. Late reports are the fastest way to lose volume with a vendor.
  • Quality. Rushed reports get revisions, and revisions hurt your score.
  • Predictability. You can plan routes and personal time.

How to choose your number

Count how many reports you can complete properly in a typical day, including driving. Set the limit a little below that to leave room for revisions and interiors that take longer.

Per vendor or overall?

Per-vendor limits let you favour your best-paying vendors. An overall mindset keeps your total manageable. Most agents use both: a total they can handle and a cap on lower-priority vendors.

Adjust with the seasons

Raise it in quiet months, lower it during holidays or busy personal weeks.
