How to Sign Up With Ascribe for BPO Orders
Ascribe's portal is separate from the LRES Genesis system, and mixing them up is the number one setup mistake.
Ascribe Valuations is a growing source of BPO broadcasts. Its setup is simple, with one catch: agents regularly confuse it with a different platform.
Registering
- Apply with Ascribe's vendor onboarding: licence, E&O, W-9 and coverage.
- You receive login details for the Ascribe vendor portal. The username is normally your email address.
- Log in and confirm your notification email and coverage.
Ascribe versus LRES Genesis
Some Ascribe-related work also runs through the LRES Genesis platform, which has its own separate login, often a numeric username. If your Ascribe login "does not work", check whether the credentials you have are actually for Genesis. They are not interchangeable.
How orders arrive
Ascribe broadcasts arrive by email, often with order numbers beginning with the letter A. You log into the portal and accept. Sessions on the portal expire fairly quickly when idle, so logging in fresh at the moment of a broadcast costs time.
Tips
- Save the correct portal address and username together so you never mix up platforms.
- Read fee and due date carefully; Ascribe also sends fee-negotiation style emails that are not broadcasts.
